Courtsey: TEDxYouth
Paul is a game designer, educator, and software engineer. He has worked as a Research Engineer and Lecturer in the past, two very different occupations that he was able to combine into his current role at Quantum Victoria. Paul's work covers a broad range of activities with engineering adventures like re-designing 3D and teaching people how to build 3D printers. At a young age Paul found out very quickly that hacking could cause problems with the bomb squad been called to his school as a result of hacking a simple clock. As he moved through school and life Paul has demonstrated how the hacking of ideas and objects is a positive rather than a negative. Everything around us is waiting to be hacked, all you need is imagination.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
